Hill will be held at the Haddock Memorial Methodist Episcopal church at 2 o'cock tomorrow afternoon. Rev.J.R. Ramsey ,pastor of the Methodist Methodist Episcopal church at South Sioux City, conducting the services. Brief services will be held at the family residence at South Sioux City at 1 o'clock. Interment will be in Floyd cemetery. The deceased had lived in Sioux City and vicinity for 28 years. Letter from Floyd Cemetary with names of Frank and Edgar that could be sons of Leonard They were born the right year. Need to search the 1900 and 1920 federal census for a record. Proved that Frank is a son of Leonard and Sarah. Sarah lists a survivor as Mrs Lars Forsberg and Frank's lists a sister as Mrs Lars Forsberg. Leonard's first marriage was to Polly S. Adams who was a daughter of Horace Adams Sr. and his second wife Cloey.

Jan 31, 1920 Sioux city Journal Saturday Death calls old resident Mrs Sara Hill dies of Cancer and complications-Lived here forty years Born in Freeport,Ill in 1851--Survived by two Sons and Two Daughters and Many other relataives -- Funeral Tomorrow Mrs Sarah Hill 68 years old, widow of the late Leonard I. Hill, died at 2 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs A. J. Erickson, of 921 South Helen street of cancer and a complication of deseases, She had been ill seven months. The late Mr Hill died on July 26, 1904. Mrs Hill was born in Freeport, Ill on August 25, 1851 and was married to her late husband at Waterloo, Ia on January 15, 1868. The couple came to Sioux City in 1878 and had lived her since. Mrs. Hill is survivved by two sons, Edgar Hill and Frank Hill, both of Sioux City and two daughters, Mrs Erickson and Mrs L.J. Forsberg, of Sioux City. Three brothers, J.A. Foye sr., C.H. Foye, sr, and S.W. Foye; three sisters, Mrs Margaret Adams, Mrs Lillian Adams and Mrs J. McEveny, and cousin H.R. Deal, also survive. There are eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grand children living. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of the daughter, Mrs Erickson, to the Rustin avenue Methodist church. Lewis Jacobson, pastor the First Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be in Floyd cemetery. Born in Sioux City, Mr. Hill lived here all his life, working at his trade of carpenter. Surviving are: his widow, Winnie; two sons, George, of Sioux City, Wilbert, of New York city; one brother, Edgar, of Sioux City, and one sister, Mrs Lars Forsberg, of Sioux City. Hill, 58, proprietor of the Hill Hotel, 616 1/2 Fourth street, for the last 20 years, died in his apartment there Saturday after an extended illness of a heart ailment. Mr Hill was born Septembr 19, 1880 in Illinois. He had been a resident of Sioux City for the last 30 years. Before buying the Hill hotel he had owned and managed several other hotels here. A daughter, Miss Sarah Jane Hill, is the only survivor. She lives here. Mr. Hill was a member of the Woodmen of the World. Funeral services will be held at 2 O'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Perasso Bros. chapel. Rev. E.W. Stimpson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate.
