A professional researcher George Ott worked on this line and he felt Guy was
brother of Benjamin and Horace. Ashley Adams son of Horace also named a son Guy.

Copy of Guy Adams will with widow Julia Adams named.
Death record of Guy gave his age as 68 and died in 1883 so he would have been
born in 1815. The history in Cook county by Andreas also said he was born in
1815.

The court having heard the testimony of Julia A. Adams, a witness of lawful age
produced sworn and examined in open court finds from such testimonyh that Guy
Adams died leaving him surviving his widow Julia A. Adams and his children
Merton J. Adams and Martha E. Hammond wife of Eugene Hammond his only heirs at
law.

Guy left an estate of $5206.50. Julia received $1960. There were about $1000
worth of debts and it didn't say anyone else was to receive anything.
