Frank L. Chase, rural Arlington died early this morning at his home. He was
81.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hintz Funeral
Home,Oelwein, wit the Rev. LaVerne Streich officiating. friends mahy call at
the funerl home after 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Floral Hills
cemetery.
Chase, a retired farmer, is survived by his wife, Mary Lorraine, two sons,
Lorraine, Hazelton and Richard, Jesup and two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Norma)
Miller, Waterloo, and Mrs Victor (Lavonne) Eschen,Sumner: a sister, Mrs Joe
(Vernet) Fleider, Englewood, Cal. 17 Grandchildren and 13 Gr grand children.

Clara Kathryn Ott Chase daughter of Rudolph and Alvina Ott, was born Feb.
11, 1903 near Fairbank, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church
there.
On Sept. 28, 1921 she married Frank L. Chase. They lived on a farm
southwest of Oelwein for 24 years and then moveod to the present location about
10 miles northeast of Oelwein in 1946.
Mrs Chase died unexpectedly at 5 a.m. on Wednesday Oct. 20, 1954 at Mercy
hosppital after an illness of two weeks
Besides her husbank, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs Dale (Noorma)
Miller and Mrs Victor (Lavonne) Eschen, both of Waterloo; three sons: Loraine,
Stanley; Kenneth, Waterloo and Richard, Dunkerton; 14 grchildren;two sisters,
Mrs Harold Hussey, Waterloo and Mrs Louis Strempke Oelwein; Three brothers;
Albert, Oran, Fred, Arlington and August, Fairbank
Funeral services were conducted at Zion Lutheran church on Oct. 22, by the
Rev. H.E. Dieter. Burial was in Memorial Gardens

Kenneth Dale Chase died of a heart attack at 5:30 am at St. Francis Hospital in
Waterloo, Iowa on Saturday, 27 Jan. 1973 age 49. Funeral services for Kenneth
were held on Tuesday, 30 Jan. at 10:30 am at Chapel of Memories with Rev. David
L. Moore, pastor of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, in Waterloo. Burial services
were conducted at Garden of Memories Cemetery with prayers led by Rev. Moore.
Kenneth married Geneva DeBar on 30 Aug. 1942 in Waterloo. Later divorced.
Kenneth married Frances Griffin on 2 May 1961 at Galena, Illinois and they
lived at 5308 Lafayette St. in Elk Run Heights in suburban Waterloo.
Shipping coordinator for all meat products at Rath Packing Co., In Waterloo for
more than thirty years. Served in the Army in WWII
Survived by his wife, Frances and 3 Sons, Richard (Kathy) Chase if 1231 West
