     Frank B. Richards, age 96, of Prairie du Sac, died on Friday, April 9, 1982 at a Prairie du Sac nursing home.  He was born in Mineral Point and was married to Elizabeth Steffes.  He lived in Platteville for many years, where he operated a barbershop.  He moved to Prairie du Sac about thirty years ago.
      Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Marguerite) Stratton of Sauk City, a son-in-law, John Stratton of Sauk City:
two daughter-in laws, Mrs James Richards of Milwaukee and Mrs John Richards of Platteville;  16 granchildren, 31 gr-grand children, and one gr-gr-grandchild.  He was preceeded in death by his wife and two sons, James and John.
      Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church.  The Gorgen Funeral Home, Mineral Point was in charge.

Copy of obit for Mrs Frank Richards age 78, rural Prairie du Sac, died Saturday in a Madison hospital.
     She was born in Mineral Point and was married in 1908 in Platteville.  She and her husband lived there until 1950 when they retired and moved to a cottage near Prairie du Sac.
      Survivors include; her husband; a son, John, Platteville; a daughter, Mrs John Stratton, Sauk City; a sister, Mrs Mayme Steffes, Mineral Point; 16 grandchildren, and 11 gr-grandchildren.
      Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church in Mineral Point.  A rosary was recited Tuesday evening at the Gorgen funeral home.
