John Austin
Died, at his home in Mineral Point city, on Thursday morning at a quarter of nine o'clock.  Mr. John Austin had been ill only eleven days.  Pneumonia set in and resulted in death at the hour stated.
He leaves to mourn their loss his wife and eight children with whom the community deeply sympathizes in the affliction.

There is a child Daniel in the 1905 st. census who is age 16 and enumerated on
the same page 350 as the other children and is possibily a son of John and
Lucinda.  More research needs to be done on this family.  Need to find Lucinda
in the 1900, 1910 and 1920 & 1930 fed census.
