There is a James Townsend marrying a Sarah Heath who could be the parents of
James who marries Frances Critch.  Fhl# 503,803 Bps. transcripts St. Nicholas
Parish, Nottingham,Nottingham,England md. 15 Jul 1787.

All of the Townsends born in England belonging to James and Frances are in the
IGI.

There is a burial for a James Townsend in Bsp. transcripts for St. Mary's
1792-1837 fhl# 504,800  Buried 15 Feb 1795.

Not proved that the marriage to Sarah Heath is the correct one.  If I remember
right there is another marriage that is a possibility. I haven't done any
research on this line since the middle 1980's.
