                   There is a question on the exact date of Anna Eva KNECHTEL's birth.
The headstone in St. George cemetery says she was born 13 Nov 1815, however,
there are two cards from the TIB files which show an Anna Eva born 13 Nov
1814, and one Anna Eva born 28 Sep 1813. I refer you to a letter written 23
May 1976 from John A Dahl to Rose S.Bell concerning this problem, said letter
is contained in the genealogy packet distributed at the SEEGMILLER FAMILY
reunion held in St. George in 1977.
This letter also containes other information concerning her birth.

The name Maria Eva is shown on some records with the notation "also known as
Anna Eva".
