    THE SUBMARINE WAS SUNK OFF THE TRUK ISLAND IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC ON
    16 NOV 1943. HOWEVER THE U.S. GOVERNMENT DIDN'T DECLEARE THESE MEN
    DEAD UNTIL 14 MAR 1944. THAT IS WHY THE DEATH DATE AND THE BURIED
    DATE ARE THE SAME.
    HIS PARENTS LIVED AT 818 WEST ALLEGHENY AVE. IN PHILADELPHIA WHEN
    HE WAS BORN.
