ORDINANCES: Although both the NEHGR and the Peabody genealogies report this marriage, I could not identify this Samuel Shackford. I might guess that he is the brother of a William Shackford, married to Deborah Trickey, who named a son Samuel. To further complicate matters, the OIF shows the marriage of Samuel Shackford on 10 May 1716 to a Frances "Hoyt". Until this Samuel Shackford is better identified, I used the ordinance dates from this 10 May 1716 marriage as his ordinance dates......Bla 08/04/02
