BURIAL: This is from Ancestry.com's World Tree Project. A NEHGS review showed that he was a Quaker and had moved to Rhode Island, so this buriel informatin made sense and I used it..............Bla 01/10/02

OTHER: NEHGS reports a daughter born 11 May 1752 to Jabez and Anna (Spooner) Wing as being married to Jonathan Handy (1972: Vol 126, Pg. 104). After careful analysis, I concluded that this is really the daughter of Anna and her first husband, Jabez Tobey. Eliminating Tabitha from the family of Jabez and Anna Spooner eliminates the problem of Jabez and Anna (Spooner) having a child so quickly after Anna's first husband died. Also, the name Tabitha would have been repeated, an unlikely supposition............Bla 01/11/02

OTHER: The marriage record of Anne/Anna to Jabez Wing is clearly documented. What is not so well documetned is the information on her birth and death. The Wing Family book referenced lists her as a child of Joseph and Deborah Wing, but does not give birth information. It is recorded that she is his first wife. We would surmise that she died in child birth, neither event of which we can find recorded...............Bla 02/15/02
