LAKELAND -- Mrs. Verna Bowman of Lakeland died of heart failure Friday (Jan. 23, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 86.Born in Oklahoma on Aug. 29, 1917, she came to Lakeland from Boise, Idaho, in 1999.Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her husbands, Luke Ennis and Tex Bowman. She is survived by her daughter, Leona Elwood, Lakeland; sons, Lonnie Ennis, Boise, Wayne Ennis, New York, Richard Ennis, Redding, Calif.; brothers, Virgil Pense, Castle Rock, Wash., Ronald Pense, Silverton, Colo.; sister, Cleo Brusco, Salt Lake City, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; four great-greatgrandchildren.Summers Funeral Home, Boise, Idaho.
