    1. Peter immigrated with his brothers Anthony and Nicholas to Massachusetts about 1636. They settled in Saugus, but removed to Sandwich, Cape Cod where they became leaders. In 1653, they came with Rev. Wm. Leverich to L.I. where they purchased land from the Indians, naming it Oyster Bay. They remained there.
