1. Parentage: possibly Michael and  Mary Ramsden if he is the Benjamin Holroyd christened on 7 Sept 1748 in Luddenden, Yorkshire, England from England Births &Christenings, 1538-1975. Second possibility found is Benjamin christened 25 Dec1760 in Ripponden to father, Isaac.
2. Children: Difficult to decipher which children are for this Benjamin and Mary.  The only child listing Mary as the mother is Sally Holroyd, christened, 16 Mar 1803 in Ripponden to Holroyd and Mary Sutcliffe.  Even ancestral Richard's christening only lists father, Benjamin. Found 19 children listed with Benjamin asthe father, Thomas 1776, Benjamin 1777-1804 in Ripponden and Halifax, Yorkshire,England. Additional children in Halifax include Jeremiah 1777, Elisabeth 1778,Harriet 1779, Sara 1780, Elisabeth 1783, John 1788, Isaac 1791, John 1793, Joseph 1796, Benjamin 1796, John 1797, Elisabeth 1804.
3. With an earlier christening, it is possible that his wife was also christenedbefore the supposed 1768. There were two christening dates for a Mary Sutcliffedaughter(s) of Simon Sutcliffe and Mary Whittaker, christened 11 Nov 1748, and6 Feb 1749.
