William MYERS

                   NAME: William / Gulielmus
DEATH: "At Kanab, Feb. 25th, of dropsy. Brother Myers was born in Durham County, England, February 9th, 1809; emigrated to Canada, where he received the gospel; was babtized by Elder J.E. Page; gathered to Nauvoo, IL.; was sent to Marylandupon a mission, where he remained till after the Prophet's death; returned andjoined the emigrating Saints, and came to the mountains; was called to the Muddymission; was affected with the chills, from which he never recovered; upon thebreaking up of the Muddy mission he settled at Kanab. Though feeble in health, he labored for the Kingdom, had great faith in the Gospel, and rejoiced exceedingly that he lived to see the United Order established as taught by the Prophet Brigham. Thus has a good man passed away."
